MORPC's RideSolutions offers information and programs on sustainable commuting options including the added benefit of the Guaranteed Ride Home program, a free service that reassures RideSolutions commuters won't be stranded at work in the case of emergency, unexpected overtime or in the absence of their driver.

Way Finding Sign System
Thanks to a partnership between the City of Columbus and Capital Crossroads SID, pedestrians can find map kiosks throughout downtown. Look for the blue information “i” signs, which include restaurants, retail stores, hotels, parking garages and surface lots, theaters and churches all within a five-minute walk of the sign.

Two-Wheeled Vehicles
Motorcycles, mopeds and motor scooters may legally park anywhere cars and trucks park according to current City Code, and there are specially designated locations just for two-wheeled motorized vehicles that display a special permit

Conveniently located in the alleyways between Broad, High, Gay and Third Streets, Pearl Market energizes downtown on Tuesdays and Fridays, 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., mid-May through October.

The unique urban market delivers a merchant mix reflective of the rich cultural diversity of central Ohio, including a wide array of locally grown produce, hand-crafted merchandise and delicious food, while providing a retail incubator for local entrepreneurs.

Major credit cards and the Ohio Direction Card are both accepted at the Pearl Market Tent in exchange for tokens that may be used throughout the market.

Topiary Park Summer Movies

Discovery Special Improvement District and partners, Gateway Film Center and Columbus Metropolitan Library , bring the From Book to Film series to life under the stars in Topiary Park . Featuring three favorite films based on popular children's books, adults and kids alike will love these familiar classics.

Pack a picnic and spread out your blankets at 8 p.m. in the park while you enjoy a variety of outdoor activities until show time. Films will begin at dusk.

Whether you take in the films for the very first time or discover them all over again, Topiary Park provides a perfect place to hang with other downtown neighbors for an evening of summer fun. This year movie-goers enjoy:

The Secret Garden (September 25)
